Reem Amr is an Egyptian visual artist holding a BA in Fine Arts. Working across collage, photography, mosaic, and mixed media, her practice investigates themes of migration, collective memory, and socio-cultural narratives.

Artist Statement

In my work, I generally focus on understanding personal experiences through group dynamics, and the topics I’m most inclined to explore are social and political. I enjoy exploring meanings that we can only express through a group, such as identity. My artistic perspective has changed significantly since graduating, though this might not be immediately apparent in my work because I’m still working to deepen my understanding of these themes.
