Heba Elkotabi
Heba El-Ketbi is a visual artist who graduated from the Faculty of Specific Education, Department of Art Education, Cairo University in 2019. She completed her master’s degree in photography in 2021 and participated in several exhibitions and artistic events. I like to add different media and methods to display my work so that it is not limited to one material or direction, and I find in this research and learning my passion in life. Artist Statment
My philosophy is largely based on human heritage and the identities of peoples and civilizations and expressing them in various ways, whether as an attempt to document, reformulate, or open a debate about the concept of heritage and modernity I believe that progress is important, and knowing what is new is important, and trying to make things and arts contemporary and as simple as possible, but completely getting rid of the past means losing identity, and that it is always possible to quote it and return to it, even if in a new guise, but it always remains of great value and is not repeated.
