Artist Statement

My practice is rooted in visual, market and academic research, a process that grounds branding development and its visual communication. With a strong interest in how cultural narratives inform identity system, I believe design is a powerful tool for generating new narratives and reviving histories. I am deeply interested by the rich design traditions of the Arab-African landscape and fascinated by how diasporic and migrated communities use visual culture to express identity and belonging.
